California has lifted a ban on the sale of CBD in food,beverages and dietary supplements, according tolegislative records.CBD vendors report that about half of U.S. states allowCBD edibles.Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) earlier in October signed StateAssembly Bill 45, allowing the regulated sale of dietarysupplements, food and beverages containing industrial hempor cannabinoids, extracts, or derivatives from industrial hemp.Inhaled products are still prohibited until the state enacts atax on them, according to a copy of the bill.
