The latest gauge of trucking activity in the United States shows an economy slowing to more moderate growth, according to the American Trucking Associations. The trucking industry group said Tuesday that its advanced seasonally adjusted For-Hire Truck Tonnage Index declined 0.3% in October. The decrease comes after the index rose 1% in September.
