Beware of hard-to-see skimmer

Be on the lookout for skimming devices known as the M3 card reader that are inserted deep within an ATM card reader. The most recent versions of the M3 are made of transparent plastic, which make the device harder to spot, according to a recent report from the European Association for Secure Transactions (EAST). That observation is one of several from EAST’s recent meeting where representatives of 20 countries gave updates of fraud cases.
