Legal: BP warns it can yank brand for selling illegal drugs, tobacco to minors

BP has just sent a reminder to branded wholesalers that it can de-brand stations caught selling tobacco to minors or selling illegal drugs, including synthetic marijuana and bath salts. As previously reported, sales of synthetic drugs at convenience stores and gas stations have given the industry a black eye. Federal data also have shown a disproportionate share of illegal tobacco sales to minors occur at retail fuel sites - including branded gas stations.
