In passing the 2018 Farm Bill, Congress bansprocessing fees on all Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT)transactions and renews the current ban on interchangefees from these transactions, NACS said based on itsreview of the legislation.The Farm Bill reauthorizes the Supplemental NutritionAssistance Program (SNAP), which delivers benefits throughEBT debit cards. More than 119,000 convenience storesaccept SNAP benefits and serve the communities in whichthey operate, NACS said.
