The Ingersoll-Rand Productivity Solutions business unit of Ingersoll-Rand Co. is helping its parent corporation celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2005 with the debut of two new series of power tools for heavy-duty industrial applications, including those found aboard ocean-going vessels and on offshore drilling rigs and production platforms. New this year to the company's full line of air-motor power tool products is the 3900Ti Series of titanium industrial impact tools, a standout set of impacts that the company believes will lead the power tool industry in performance and strength. The use of titanium as part of the tool body in each model of the 3900Ti Series reduces its weight while increasing its resilience, making it ideal for use in nearly any impact situation, the company says.
