New Dampier support facility

The offshore sector may get a new onshore support facility, with expressions of interest called for the development of a marine services facility in Dampier. The Dampier Port Authority (DPA) has been granted government approval to proceed with its development and will open an expression of interest soon. State treasurer and transport minister Troy Buswell said DPA would soon seek market interest in developing much-needed new infrastructure as well as leasing some existing facilities at the port.
