Tero Marine expecting further growth in Asia-Pacific region

Late 2013 saw Tero Marine in Norway complete the acquisition of 99 per cent shares in Teomaki AS, which specialised in IT solutions for the shipping and offshore sectors. Established in 2004, the main shareholders in Teomaki were Borgestad AS and Dione AS. The acquisition added to Tero Marine's already broad range of applications for maritime operations, procurement and quality control. "With its versatile structure and business process focus, Teomaki SM is an important addition to our portfolio of products, alongside our TM Master V2 fleet management suite," said Tero Marine at the time that the deal was completed, noting that it is committed to supporting and, in time, expanding the Teomaki product line. "Teomaki will become an integral part of Tero Marine, with a staff of 35 located at our offices in Bergen, Oslo, the UK, and Singapore. We are also represented in Finland, Dubai and the US, with several new agencies to be added in the near future. This means that we will be able to give local support to Teomaki's customers on a global scale," the company said.
