The Caballo Xanthus 2,450 dwt PSV is now headed to Mexico, having recently been delivered from Shipyard de Hoop in the Netherlands. The Oceanografia-managed vessel is expected to arrive in Mexico in early 2012, where it will have the final components of a liquid mud plant installed. Following this, Caballo Xanthus is expected to start a long-term contract with state oil company PEMEX. It is the third KISS design vessel Shipyard de Hoop has built for Oceanografia, following the delivery of the Don Alfonso and Caballo Galiceno earlier this year. The fourth in the series, the 2,450 dwt PSV Caballo Genitor, was launched in late November 2011 and is scheduled for delivery in February.
