Learning the lessons of FPSO topside layout

Aker Kvaerner's Andrew Mackay and Don Harrold have over the years accumulated extensive experience in the design of FPSO topside facilities, most recently on the SeaRose vessel which is currently operating successfully for Husky Energy in Atlantic Canada. Here, they share with OE readers some of their collective insights and learnings from past projects in both the greenfield and brownfield environments.
