Louisiana Corrections Secretary Richard Stalder Honored by MOWW

The Military Order of the World Wars announces that Louisiana Department of Public Safety and Corrections Secretary Richard L. Stalder is the winner of the 2005 National Law and Order Individual Award, which is presented to an outstanding law enforcement or criminal justice official in the United States. This is the first year that the winner represents the corrections field. Vice-Chairman of the MOWW's National Law and Order Committee COL William Scott presented the award to Secretary Stalder during a meeting Sunday, August 6th, 2005, of the Association of State Correctional Administrators (ASCA), of which Stalder serves as President.
