This model allows one to analyse the environmental impact of deforestation, water consumption, wastewater, waste disposal and carbon emissions. In an analysis of all major paper manufacturers in the world, Double A Paper emerged as the most environment-friendly paper producer with environment costs of €0.025 (US$0.03) per pack of 500 sheets. To put this in context, the environmental impact from the poorest performance, attributed to a manufacturer in Indonesia, was valued at €0.24.
