U.S. regional networks help libraries move into the 21st century

U.S. regional networks are operating at breakneck speed to support their members' needs today and to help them plan for changes that will carry them successfully into the 21 st century. In a time "when even the best planning can only address needs fora two-to-three-year time span, networks are actively working to maintain a technology edge and support member libraries' implementation of and planning for new products and services. Technology planning, user education and training, and support of technology initiatives are the primary areas in which networks are assisting libraries in this dynamic environment.
