11 November is World Usability Day, an initiative devoted to making life easier through better design of the technology we use every day, from mobile phones and TV remotes to medical technology and online systems. The theme of this year's Usability Day is 'communication' and details of events taking place across the globe are available on the project's website. Many of the events will be available as webcasts.
