OH standards launched

For the first time, definitive standards to measure the performance of occupational health services in the UK have been drawn up.rnDeveloped by the Faculty of Occupational Medicine (FOM) and a working group of occupational health professionals, the standards provide a framework for a voluntary accreditation scheme that will be launched next year. They apply to core clinical occupational health services, ie. services provided by doctors, nurses and occupational health technicians - both in-house and by commercial organisations.
