The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work (EU-OSHA) has published a number of new case studies that aim to help prevent work-related musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in agriculture. According to EU-OSHA, agriculture is the sector where MSDs and exposure to MSD risks are the most common, with rates of backache and muscular pain twice higher than the average, with many farm workers reporting being exposed to repetitive hand and arm movements, tiring or painful positions and carrying or moving heavy loads.
