摘要

The Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe have asked governments to ensure that migrant workers enjoy the same safety at work as native workers and to implement a number of measures as part of their policy for the prevention of occupational hazards to the safety and health of migrant workers. These measures are designed to remove the causes of occu pational accidents by enabling migrant workers to overcome handicaps due to lack of training, inadequate knowledge of the language, completely new types of work or working conditions, psychological defects resulting from malnutrition loneliness, segregation, adjustment difficulties, differences in environment between host and home country, fatigue due to overtime, and more poorly paid work.
