摘要

Greg Clydesdale, who lectures in the Department of Business Management, Lincoln University, New Zealand, bases his book on the premise that the key to good management is understanding human nature and interpersonal relations. But, as he points out, individual human beings are not easy to understand and do not come with an instruction manual listing their varied technical specifications. They can be emotional, irrational and often unpredictable. Yet a manager's job is to get the best out of them: in fact they are often the key to the manager's own success (or lack of it).
