Child safety

RoSPA Scotland hosted its annual child safety conference last month, bringing together around 150 professionals who are working to stop accidents from happening to children in the home, on the roads and in or near water. The event, called Child Safety - A Sharing, was supported by the Scottish Government and NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and speakers included Dr Dylan Broomfield, accident and emergency consultant at Edinburgh's Royal Hospital for Sick Children, David McGown, deputy assistant chief officer for prevention and protection at the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and Paul Wheelhouse MSP, Minister for Community Safety and Legal Affairs.
