Highs & lows in NHS staff survey, with many facing abuse from patients

The NHS Staff Survey is one of the largest workforce surveys in the world and has been conducted every year since 2003. It asks NHS staff in England about their experiences of working for their respective NHS organisations. 569,000 NHS employees across 229 NHS trusts responded to this year's survey. Seventy per cent of staff said their manager took a positive interest in their health and wellbeing, up from 66% in 2018, but only around a third (29.3%) said their trust definitely takes positive action on health and wellbeing.
