Frank first heard about slavery as a boy growing up in the West Indies. "I was 11-years-old and learning about the slave ships," he says. "But modern slavery? No. I'd never heard the phrase. AU I knew was that I was being worked to the bone and not getting paid. When they said to me 'this is slavery', yeah, it was a shock. But modern slavery is real and it breaks people".
