Aerospace engineering firm Rolls-Royce is to outsource its occupational health service.The company confirmed this week that it has signed a deal with Atos Healthcare.rnOH at Work revealed in August (OH at Work 2008; (2): 7) that the company was considering a move to an outsourced provider as part of a review of its OH function. Rolls-Royce is now in the process of consulting with employee representatives ahead of the expected transfer of its OH services to Atos by the end of this year.rnSpeaking exclusively to OH at Work, a Rolls-Royce spokesperson said:'We have reviewed the way occupational health is delivered in the UK and have signed a contract with Atos Healthcare. We are consulting employee representatives, with a view to implementing changes later this year.'
