The first national audit of NHS trusts on their implementation of six workplace health guidelines from the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) finds that just 15% of trusts have a policy or plan to address staff obesity1. By contrast, three-quarters (73%) of trusts have a plan or policy to help employees quit smoking, and all have a policy on the management of long-term absence.
