Size matters

Obesity is an increasing health problem in the US and Europe and Departments of Health in the UK regions have introduced a number of campaigns to educate the general public about the need for healthy eating and exercise. Some employers have introduced healthy living programmes, with the assistance of occupational health professionals, to try to get the message across, recognising that a healthy workforce means greater productivity and less sickness absence.
