The 'disability-employment gap' stands at 29%, a briefing paper from the House of Commons Library confirms~1.The gap is 4.2 percentage points smaller than it was in April-June 2013. The gap represents the difference in the employment rate of people with and without disabilities. According to the briefing, the employment rate in April-June 2019 for people with disabilities was 52.6% while the rate for people without disabilities was 81.5%.
