Congressional Lawmakers Press Doe On 'hanford Mission' Support Contract

Two congressional lawmakers are concerned about what's in store for cleanup efforts at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation now that the federal government has awarded new contracts but delayed the selection of a company to perform support operations at the Washington state site. In a letter to the U.S. Energy Department, Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.) and Rep. Doc Hastings (D-Wash.) ask for more information about DoE's plans for Hanford's so-called "Mission Support"rncontract.
