JANSI to Participate in Several EPRI Nuclear Research Programs

The Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) announced that the Japan Nuclear Safety Institute (JANSI) will begin participating in a number of EPRI's nuclear research programs. "Access to the collaborative research results developed through EPRI will support JANSI's mission to pursue the highest level of safety and performance at Japan's nuclear power plants," EPRI reported. JANSI was established in November 2012 in the aftermath of the Fukushima Daiichi accident as an independent professional organization dedicated to achieving safety in the Japanese nuclear program.
