Ontario Power Generation Official Provides Update on Proposed Site for DGR

At a Council meeting earlier this week, Fred Kuntz of Ontario Power Generation (OPG) provided an update to the Town of Goderich on a proposed site for a Deep Geologic Respository (DGR). The proposed DGR would be built on the Bruce Nuclear site, to limit the effects in transfer time and reduce the risk of exposing too many outside elements to nuclear waste, or in other words to protect the environment and lake.
