The U.S. Energy Department (DoE) has decided that trains - not trucks - are the best way to relocate mill tailings from a former uranium-ore processing site in Utah to a new site 30 miles away.The department plans to use the Union Pacific Railroad track to relocate the tailings from Moab to Crescent Junction. Oversized material that's not practical for rail transportation will be transported by truck.
