Review of Double-Hypernuclear Search and Future Projects at J-PARC

Experimental study of double hypernucleus has been carried out in three experiments, so far. Nine events for double hypernucleus were detected in the world, however only Nagara event (_(ΛΛ)~6He) presented information of Λ-Λ interaction with unique identification of its nuclear species. To understand the interaction without uncertainty derived from nuclear structure difference, therefore, it is necessary to detect more double hypernuclei with some other nuclear species than _(ΛΛ)~6He through the measurement of two-Λ binding energy inside nucleus. The experiment E07 at J-PARC is expected to provide 10~2 and 10~3 double hypernuclear events with 'Hybrid-Emulsion' and 'Overall-Scanning' method, respectively. One of the future projects is also discussed on S = - 3 nuclear physics.
