Opening Address

Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! It is my great pleasure to give an opening address on behalf of the organizing committee of the International Workshop on Strangeness Nuclear Physics (SNP12). First of all would like to express our hearty welcome to all of you coming to Neyagawa, the hometown of the Osaka Electro-communication University. Fortunately the number of the participants amounts to totally 74, more than we expected. Especially we are very grateful to 20 guests from abroad who come here spending long time from Asian, European and American countries.
