D'Agostino testifies on NNSA's security maintenance abilities

Thomas D'Agostino, administrator of the Department of Energy's National Nuclear Security Administration, on July 20 testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee on the new Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) and the NNSA's ability to ensure the safety, security, and effectiveness of the U.S. nuclear weapons stockpile under the treaty. D'Agostino was joined by James Miller,principal deputy under secretary of defense for policy, and Gen. Kevin Chilton, commander of the U.S. Strategic Command.
