U of Saskatchewan gets funds for research center

The University of Saskatchewan announced in early March that it is to receive a total of Can$53 million (about $55.4 million) in funding for a new nuclear research center, a cyclotron, and a PET-CT scanner. Most of the funds will come from the federal and provincial governments. Over the next seven years, the university will receive Can$30 million (about $31.4 million) to establish the research center, which will focus on nuclear science and engineering, materials and neutron science, and nuclear health sciences.
