Filling the industry's personnel needs

Providing appropriately educated and trained workers-to fill both the technological and engineering needs of an expanding nuclear industry-continues to be a subject that is mentioned frequently in articles in print and on the Web, in sessions at meetings, and in the pages of this magazine. Even though the job market has slowed somewhat as the economy continues to languish, nuclear-trained individuals are still likely to find employment. This month, tying in with ANS's Conference on Nuclear Training and Education (CONTE 2011), being held February 6-9 in Jacksonville, Fla., we bring you a Special Section on Education, Training, and Workforce Issues.
