Anew generation of nuclear power managers must be trained now to ensure that personnel will be available to safely and sustainably operate and regulate a growing fleet of nuclear power plants worldwide, the International Atomic Energy Agency said on November 8 when it launched an initiative to introduce future nuclear managers to the principles of the effective management of nuclear energy programs.
