A Security Issue Identified At The Peach Bottom Isfsi during a Nuclear Regulatory Commission inspection in May has resulted in the issuance of a notice of violation to Exelon, the owner and operator of Peach Bottom. According to the November 3 notice, the NRC has decided against proposing a civil penalty in the matter, given Exelon's "immediate compensatory actions to address any security-related vulnerability associated with this issue," as well as the Peach Bottom independent spent fuel storage installation's positive enforcement-action track record.
