Developing multi-application remote systems

The use of remotely operated devises to carry out maintenance tasks poses the nuclear industry with unique challenges. Spanish company Enwesa, in collaboration with the Technical University of Madrid, has developed a series of remotely operated tools and the control and software architecture to operate them, with the aim of providing nuclear facilities with robots flexible enough to address different problems without the need to design a new system.
