The tide is turning in favour of nuclear power

Although China and India have been aggressively expanding their nuclear programmes over the last five years, it is only in the last two years that a sea change has started in Europe and America. The first positive signal was Finland's decision to construct a European Pressurised Reactor citing security of supply and global warming as the key reasons. However, this year many other western countries have started to recognise the unique blend of advantages provided by a nuclear power programme.
