Once again, my offering is something of a pot-pourri: The concept of the Nuclear Delta has been finalised and the details are now on the web site. The aim has been to capture what it is that makes the Nuclear Institute different from the other institutes/ institutions. It is also what separates a nuclear professional from other professional scientists, engineers, technologists and business specialists. In practical terms, demonstration of the achievement of the skills and competences defined in the Nuclear Delta will be an important component of professional accreditation by the NI and of courses/training formally endorsed by the Institute. As always, comments/suggestions for improvement of the concept are welcomed.
