periodic safety review of nuclear power plants

摘要

A review of experience in undertaking periodic safety reviews (PSRs) of operating nuclear power plants (NPPs) has been made. Anadysis of the findings revealed significant commonalities in the conduct of PSRs from which the main safety issues were identified. A general procedure for the conduct of PSRs was Proposed and guidance given on the acceptability of Any identified shortfalls in safety. An outline of this Review is described.
