Q&A with Robert Alford

Robert Alford has been described as a genuine rising star and can be considered as something of an advertisement for the next generation of nuclear professionals. I first met Robert when I started at NNL back in the autumn of 2016, and I was blown away by his energy and passion for the nuclear sector. In the intervening years, Robert's passion has endured and continued to drive his impact on the industry. The Nuclear Institute has provided a secondary career, with Robert immersing himself in the industry. In addition to his day job, he has become involved with the YGN's strategic committee chairing the Education, Attraction and Outreach subcommittee. Robert has gained professional recognition through the Nuclear Institute and is grateful for the support and encouragement he has received along the way. He is committed to personal and career development and is always available to support colleagues either considering or undertaking professional recognition.
