In problems of scattering by bodieswith an ideal mixed anisotropic admittance, an anomalous unlimited increase in the surface-current density has been observed in the vicinity of singular points (poles) and singualr lines (resonace loops) for some topologies of admittance lines. It is shwon that, in these particular cases, the respective boundary-value problems become ill-posed within the context of the polarization invariance concept. Boundary conditions of two kinds are proposed that provide polarization invariance of circularly polarized fields: one-sided impedance conditions with allowavnce for loss and the two-sided conditions for semitransparent surfaces. Calculated scattering characteristics of a sphere with an anisotropic absorption impedance are presented.
