Radar Sounding of Phobos in the Phobos-Ground Project

摘要

The main tasks of the "Phobos-Ground" Russian Project are formulated. The parameters of a long-wavelength radar for subsurface sounding are presented. The radar is designed for investigating the electrophys-ical characteristics of the Phobos ground, revealing the depth structure, estimating the rock density, and radar mapping of the topography and roughness of the satellite's surface.
