摘要

General relationships are presented for the field spatial spectra in periodic and nonperiodic slow-wave structures. An analytical expression is obtained for the amplitude dispersion surface corresponding to a section of a matched folded waveguide, and shapes of amplitude dispersion surfaces for sections of slow-wave structures are calculated. The effect of interaction gaps on the optimum synchronous velocity in finite sections of slow-wave structures is demonstrated.
