The dispersion laws of electromagnetic surface waves propagating in a perpendicular direction to the bias field are investigated in a structure consisting of two identical ferrite plates separated by a dielectric plate with a negative permittivity. The existence conditions for forward and backward (external and internal) waves are determined as a function of the thickness of the ferrite and dielectric plates, constant magnetic field, and value of negative permittivity.
