摘要

A noise-immune method for adaptation of the aperture dimensions of rank filters for the processing of the images distorted by pulse interferences is proposed. The adaptation is separate for rows and columns. An adaptive median-filtering algorithm implementing the proposed method is considered. The results of numerical study of the proposed and known image-processing algorithms are presented.
