PHS 64kbit/s data transmission technique

摘要

This paper proposes a novel data transmission technique over PHS 64kbit/s unrestricted digital bearer. Based on PIAFS,it includes two protocols for error control. One is almost the same as PIAFS except for the data clock speed and the other is modified from PIAFS not only in terms of data clock speed but also in the error control procedure itself to enable higher transmission rates under worse transmitter conditions by applying the acknowledgment number notification method. This technique is very effective for use in de-signing a mobile multimedia communication infrastructure, especially for ISDN and/or OCN wireless access systems.
