Optima Nonwovens opens new logistics centre

As part of a wider strategic investment programme, Germany-based Optima Nonwovens has completed the installation of its new logistics centre. Opened officially on 5 July, the project took just 10 months to complete at a cost of €20m. The centre, based in the Solpark Industrial Estate in Schwabisch Hall, Baden-Wurttemberg, where the company is based, has been built in order to ensure that its products are available to its global customer base much sooner. Equipped with the latest technologies, the centre is also ready for the future. Describing the centre to NRI, Jan Deininger, editor, Optima Packaging Group GmbH, states that it features state-of-the-art systems to boost efficiency, communication and better working conditions for employees.
