Uptime Analysis Reduces Scrap Rate and Shutdowns and Increases Throughput

There are so many ways to understand how the nonwovens industry has grown thanks to hygiene disposable personal care products over the last 30+ years. During this time period both crypt and fairy tales are part of the not-yet-ending history. From a hygiene disposable personal care products perspective, we might set three different stages: the 80s as the fluffy product decade, the 90s as the transition decade from fluffy cores to thinner cores, and finally the year 2000 as the year when nonwoven materials take the leading role into hygiene disposable personal care products. There is one reason or at least one product, which makes it happen: disposable baby diapers. I am not afraid to say disposable baby diapers have been the engine of nonwoven material volume sales increment over the last 25 years. Moreover, disposable baby diapers enable innovation not only into nonwovens R&D but even a broader range such as new fibers, new technology, new materials, new products and new suppliers...in other words, disposable baby diapers created a whole new business.
