Manufacturing Technology for Inside Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) Lining Steel Pipe

Needs for the sanitary pipe has been changing with the improvement of the standard of living and diversity of life style. NKK have been developing and manufactur- ing the goods for the needs since 1969. In order to im- prove the leading quality further and the productivity aggressivery, NKK renewed inside unplasticized polyvi- nyl chloride (PVC) lining steel pipe mill in December, 1995. In this work, various new technologies were de- veloped and introduced. This report presents the out- line of the new technologies and operation after the renewal.
